3 Things All Affiliate Marketers Need To Survive Online

Every Affiliate Marketer is always looking for a successful market or niche which will produce a fast profit. Sometimes they think there’s a silver bullet or magic formula which will create untold wealth overnight. I’m here to tell you that is NOT going to happen! There are a number of things you have to do and have in place before you start.

One of the first things to understand is there is no need to reinvent the wheel! There are steps to follow and if you follow them it won’t take too long before you have your own money making internet marketing business up and running. The basics are pretty simple and if you keep to them you will be more likely to succeed. Below I have detailed what I believe to be 3 of the top Affiliate Marketing tips which will help you increase sales and survive in the highly competitive world of Affiliate Marketing.

What are these three tactics?

#1. Produce unique web pages

…to promote all of the different products or services you want to sell. Do not lump all of them together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more. Most hosting sites offer ample space for you to do this.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an understanding of what the product can do or how it is going to help them solve their problem. Also include testimonials from other buyers or users of the product. Make sure these customers give you their permission to use their names and photos on your site for the product or service you are promoting. Remember…testimonials add credibility…and take special note of this…the best testimonial will come from YOU because you have purchased the product or service and are using it yourself!

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to action on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, and most importantly…contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and hopefully they will want to find out more.

#2. Offer free reports to your readers.

Create an opt-in box to collect names and email addresses in exchange for a FREE report. With an autoresponder account, you will be able to create messages that can be emailed to those who provide their personal information into your opt-in box. According to several research studies in the past, it is going to take (on average) 7 emails to each & every contact you make before they will purchase from you.

As a retired Real Estate Agent who needed to prospect for new business, A LOT, the same average held true. People need to know they can TRUST you…and TRUST that the product you have on offer is going to solve their problem…in other words…THEY DON’T WANT TO BE SCAMMED!

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: A sale is made/name collected or the prospect leaves the page, never to be seen again! By placing useful & relevant information into their inboxes at certain times, you will remind them of the product they thought they wanted. If they give you their name and email address they must be interested…right? Make sure the content you deliver is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product reminding them why they contacted in the first place! It is very important that you do not make it sound like a sales pitch.

Focus on the important points like how your product can solve the problem they are looking for answers to. Include compelling subject lines in the email. Avoid using the word “free” too much because there are still older spam filters that will dump this kind of content with words like this into the junk file before anyone even gets to read your email.

#3. You MUST do your research.

Get the exact traffic you are targeting your product to. If the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering they will never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports.

Try to write a minimum of 2 articles per week, with at least 500-700 words in length. The more you write / blog the more likely it is you are going to be noticed by the search engines…the higher your ranking the more likely you will be found by the traffic you need…TRAFFIC = $$$$$$$$$
Always remember that only 1 out of 100 people is likely to buy your product or engage your services.

It really is not that hard to get your product or service off the ground. All it requires is some time, patience and research (lots of it)…and an action plan on your part.
